I was looking for a netbook-sized laptop for a while ', but the 10-inch screens and 92% work size keyboard, not just for me.
After reviewing the ASUS 1005 for being the best in class 10-inch screen with its long battery life and the right price point.
Another option I considered was 750 with Acer One 11.6-inch screen, but I stayed away from it because of the slow processor.

Just mention, when I saw the latest revision of the failed fan, I got my 1410 today, and indeed LOUD buzzing noise of the fan. Replacement is underway. I have been involved in problems defective trackpad on the new Mini Toshiba (Toshiba acknowledged its manufacturing process problems, then the back), and hope we do not have a problem here, too MFG. Everything else in 1410 so incredible, beautiful screen and keyboard. Barley is a bit 'plasticky than the Toshiba, and the touchpad is much smaller, but the rest hit the other netbooks out of the water and is about the same size and weight. Amazing! I'll post more when the replacement arrives.
